Community College Aerospace Scholars (CAS)
Community College Aerospace Scholars gives teams of community college students from across the state of Texas an opportunity to participate in a unique on-site team project. Prior to their arrival at Johnson Space Center, students are involved in web-based interactive activities. During their on-site experience, students spend three days in the fall or spring semester taking part in an exploration team project which allows them to work with NASA engineers and scientists in a real-life environment to design and present a project proposal.
